If it were actual cloth/patch material I might think different but using plastic to me just seems like they were cutting corners (pardon the semi-intended pun on relic cards) by making a plastic thing. As for the player's Nickname Day/weekend I think it is a pretty neat idea, except some of the nicknames they come up with are odd. Then again the nicknames are what the players call each other and some of them don't get translated to the fans.CaptKirk42https://www.blogger.com/profile/16039278539984069944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7573896101004946985.post-26020233262685857732019-01-14T21:45:36.420-05:002019-01-14T21:45:36.420-05:00For some reason, I really like this parallel/inser...For some reason, I really like this parallel/insert set as well. Instead of Topps making some ridiculous to figure out SP variation or foil parallels, why not make the Nickname Jersey as the parallel set? Doesn't seem like it would take too much effort and there could be some backstory to the Nickname's origin, etc. Jimmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13569974722902461446noreply@blogger.com
